Rooted in California: TransPak Celebrates Earth Month

One Tree Planted

400,000 Trees Planted and a Volunteer Spirit

This Earth Month, TransPak is reflecting on one of the most meaningful sustainability milestones in our company’s history and looking ahead to getting our hands in the soil ourselves.

Through our partnership with One Tree Planted, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to global reforestation, TransPak funded the planting of 400,000 climate-resilient trees across 2,866 acres of Northern California forest land devastated by the Sheep Fire (2020) and Dixie Fire (2021). Native species like Ponderosa pine, Douglas-fir, and Sugar pine are now taking root — restoring biodiversity, supporting over 300 animal species, and generating measurable carbon offsets that directly support our ESG and decarbonization goals.

California is where TransPak was founded over 70 years ago, and giving back to the land that helped build this company isn’t just good environmental stewardship; it’s personal.

And we’re not stopping at writing checks. This month, members of our team are rolling up their sleeves for an in-person volunteer tree planting, because we believe real sustainability means showing up.

Reforestation is one pillar of TransPak’s broader commitment to sustainable supply chain solutions. Our packaging refurbishment program keeps materials in circulation and out of landfills, extending the lifecycle of crates and packaging components while reducing waste across the logistics chain. These initiatives reflect a company-wide culture of environmental responsibility, not just a seasonal campaign.

Sustainable logistics starts with decisions made every day, from the materials we choose to the forests we restore.

Happy Earth Month from all of us at TransPak.
