At TransPak, we’ve taken our environmental leadership to the next level by partnering with One Tree Planted since 2020. It is our honor to undertake the responsibility of offsetting the lumber consumed in our crating business and contributing to critical reforestation as a sustainable packaging company committed to responsible resource use.
TransPak’s partnership with One Tree Planted, a nonprofit organization focused on global reforestation, directs tree-planting efforts to the regions where we source and ship. Our contributions restore forest cover; support biodiversity; and improve air and water quality, climate resilience, and local communities – reinforcing our role among leading sustainable logistics companies.
“Achieving sustainability is about more than corporate goals; it’s about leaving a better planet for our children and grandchildren.”
– Bert Inch, TransPak CEO
Born a crating business, TransPak understands the immense importance of trees. We view wood not just as a material but as a renewable resource that, when responsibly managed, can support both business and the environment. For that reason, we’re committed to tree planting with One Tree Planted, an initiative that reflects our approach to sustainability and corporate social responsibility.

We’re proud to announce a donation of nearly $500,000 to One Tree Planted to plant 400,000 native trees across 2,700+ acres of land in Northern California between April and November 2025.
This land, just over 200 miles from TransPak’s San Jose headquarters, was devastated by the Sheep Fire (2020) and Dixie Fire (2021) – two of the most destructive wildfires in California history. Our project will restore forest ecosystems across key burn zones in Lassen, Plumas, Butte, and surrounding counties. Each species planted, from Ponderosa pine to White fir, was carefully selected for its native resilience to California’s changing climate.

At TransPak, we’re grateful for the ability to give back. From CEO Bert Inch: “California is where TransPak got its start more than seven decades ago and this project will be a tangible way to give back to the land that helped build this company.”
This effort stands as a meaningful example of corporate social responsibility in action.
