TransPak first established our Malaysian operations in 2011, guided by the strategic vision of Rene Corona-Garcia. This early entry into the Malaysian market allowed TransPak to develop a keen understanding of the local business landscape, positioning itself as an essential partner for companies navigating the complexities of the semiconductor supply chain.
TransPak’s Expansion Strategy is Customer-Driven
TransPak’s expansion strategy has always been driven by our commitment to our customers, and that’s what led us to Malaysia. When one of TransPak’s largest customers moved its semiconductor production to Penang, TransPak followed suit. We established a presence in Penang to continue providing seamless support to one customer, and as more of the market shifted to Malaysia, we were there to support new and existing customers with quality packaging solutions and logistics services.
Pioneering Clean Room Facilities
TransPak’s Malaysia facility in Johor is home to a state-of-the-art cleanroom facility that was established in 2017. The first of its kind for TransPak, it was created to cater to the stringent requirements of semiconductor customers. Cleanrooms are essential for the production and packaging of semiconductor equipment, as they provide a controlled environment that minimizes contamination and ensures the integrity of delicate components.
