Arlene Inch - Chair of the Board
The Inch family acquired Transpak in 1969—since then, Arlene Inch has fulfilled any and all roles necessary to further Transpak’s mission. Arlene’s innate ability for risk management and identifying strategic growth options have been critical factors in Transpak’s International progress. Arlene’s everlasting optimism is infectious beyond the Transpak family and pours into our communities--she currently holds a position on the Board of the Bay Area Tumor Institute (BATI), as well as the Northern California Arthritis Foundation (NCAF). Additionally, Arlene heads the executive leadership team as she currently is a member of the Astra Women’s Business Alliance and Women’s Business Enterprise National Council.
Bert Inch - Chief Executive Officer
CEO of TransPak since 2007, Bert Inch originally joined the firm in 1985 after receiving his Bachelor's degree in Political Economics from UC Berkeley. In his 30 years at TransPak, Bert has worked on all aspects of operations, from sales and customer service to production and quality control. Since 1996, when Bert became President, TransPak has focused on creating exceptional service that surpasses customer expectations. Bert has developed an experienced leadership team that has helped build the operation in many ways. He values constructing strong relationships, and this is evident in the way the TransPak team works closely and efficiently both within the organization and outside of it, with clients and the community. Since Bert joined the TransPak management team, the company has expanded to do business worldwide in a wide range of services including packaging, crating and transportation. At the same time, Bert's energy, creativity and dedication to customer service have made him a leader in the industry.
Rene Corona - Chief Operating Officer
Rene brought robust background and international expertise when he joined the TransPak team in 2004. With over 36 years in the Packaging and Crating industry, Rene's experience spans from hands-on production to engineering and design all the way to sales, where his performance drove record-breaking levels. Rene played a pivotal role guiding international operations and has managed facilities in Mexico and Taiwan. Rene opened TransPak's Singapore facility and manages the operation. Rene holds a Packaging Technology certification from San Jose State University in San Jose, California, as well as one in Packaging Engineering from Lansmont Engineering in Monterey, California. He is a proud member of the Institute of Packaging Professionals and is certified as a Packaging Professional and also in Hazardous Material Packaging.
Keith Wolf - Senior Vice President, Business Development
Keith began his career with TransPak in 1993, as Night Shift Packaging Foreman, and moved into our sales and engineering department in 1994. A consistent top performer and always willing to take on more responsibility, Keith developed a deep understanding of this unique business and became an integral part of the Executive Management team. In early 2002, he opened TransPak's first satellite operation in Oregon. Since then, he has managed the opening of six more satellite facilities, four of which are in Asia. Keith leverages his knowledge of our business protocol and strategy to continually look for ways that TransPak can expand and remain a premier supplier to the global high-tech Industry. Keith earned his BS in Industrial Design at Western Washington University in 1986.
Leilani Arendell - Vice President, Logistics
A seasoned supply chain expert, Leilani's broad experience in domestic and international transportation augments her in-depth understanding of industry trends, government regulations and process efficiency. Leilani launched TransPak's logistics operation in 1998 and since then has driven double-digit revenue growth each year. In addition, Leilani manages TransPak's warehousing operation. By earning a CCSF certification, she enabled multiple unique solutions for TransPak's importers and exporters for their freight, general pick and pack operations as well as warehouse fulfillment. Leilani is certified as a Specialist in Customs Export and Import Procedures. She's also a specialist in TSA Air Cargo Screening and Training for Physical, X-ray Technology ETD systems.
Jennifer Kay - Vice President, Southern California
Jennifer has compiled over two decades of custom crating, packaging, rigging, and logistics experience. Beginning at a small, family-owned crating company, Jennifer established her presence in Southern California almost immediately. Jennifer’s broad foundation and willingness to learn propelled her to the forefront of the industry—in 2008, she was awarded the Gold Supplier Aware from the Northrop Grumman Corporation as the only custom-crating supplier in nation to do so—ever.
Jennifer joined the Transpak family in 2010 and quickly established herself as a strategic and impactful leader. Jennifer has trailblazed Transpak’s North American expansions, including a growing presence in Southern California, Tijuana, Mexico and Alabama. Under Jennifer’s leadership, Transpak continues to pave the way to innovative manufacturing and unrivaled customer service.
Bill Dinsmore - Vice President, Packaging Materials
A member of the TransPak team since early 2008, Bill Dinsmore heads up the Packaging Materials Division for TransPak. Bill continually increases the depth and breadth of TransPak's packaging products and services to ensure every customer need can be met. When Bill joined TransPak, he brought an extensive background in both manufacturing and distribution where he developed a broad knowledge of all types of packaging and packaging solutions with direct experience solving customer challenges and managing a sales force. Bill graduated from the University of Oregon with a BS in Political Science.
Will Sultemeier - Managing Director of Taiwan and China
Born and bred in Texas, Will now calls Taiwan home. He began his career in Austin, Texas, developing a career-long expertise in the semiconductor industry. This led him to his first global role at TSMC in Taiwan, and then to other diverse positions such as Commercial Manager for AM Technical Solutions in Zelenograd, Russia, followed by Integration Project Management at New England High Purity in Kiryat Gat, Israel before moving to Asia. Will joined TransPak in 2015 and with over 7 years experience in the region, focuses on our Taiwan and China operations bringing efficiency and teamwork to these key locations.
Tony Ku - Managing Director, Korea
Tony joined TransPak in 2009 to specifically manage offices and facilities in Korea. He brought a wealth of expertise in high-tech crating and packaging to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction. Prior to TransPak, Tony worked at a global freight forwarding company for 10 years, and was a key player in the logistics industry in Korea. Tony honed his experience by providing valuable logistics services such as ocean/air forwarding, warehousing (3PL) and heavy/oversize bulk traffic to globally recognized brands doing business in sales. Tony graduated from Hanyang University and majored in Transportation Engineering. This technical and principle knowledge provides a base for expertise at the practical level and helps Tony develop customized solutions for his customers.
Kim Smith - Vice President, Human Resources
Kim Smith leads TransPak's Human Resource team and our HR strategy and effectiveness. With over 20 years global HR experience in industries as diverse as technology, manufacturing, law, and banking, Kim knows people are TransPak's most valuable asset. Kim holds a Master's in Human Resources from New York University and is SHRM-SCP and HRCI-SPHR certified. With a passion for results and customer service, she sustains the culture, careers, and internal collaboration that drives the TransPak engine. In managing our human resources with excellence, Kim ensures TransPak is best equipped to deliver extraordinary results for our customers.
Kate Stock - Vice President, Finance
Kate leads TransPak’s global accounting and finance teams with an eye to enabling better business operations through data analytics and successfully leveraging financial capital to support TransPak’s ongoing growth and investment. Kate joined TransPak in 2016 with a diverse background ranging from SEC reporting and technical accounting to operational and managerial financial analysis and reporting. Prior to TransPak, Kate built her career leading teams for global manufacturing and logistics companies. Kate graduated from the University of Oregon with a BS in Accounting, and is a CPA, a Certified Management Accountant, and a member of both the American Institute of CPAs and the Institute of Management Accountants.
Liz Hawkins Tahawi - Director of Marketing
Liz is TransPak's marketing leader. She focuses her time on communications, strategic planning, business development, and creative problem-solving. Prior to TransPak, at her own marketing firm and at agencies and in-house, she managed clients' marketing and sales needs from start-ups to Fortune 500 companies, from $100 to $100M campaigns. She has a degree in Government/International Relations from Georgetown University and is happy to be a part of TransPak’s global footprint. Liz believes TransPak's brand and stories--almost 7 decades of growth driven by strong customer focus and innovative thinking--is a key part of its success and is passionate about sharing this message.
Paco Cuevas - Director of Sales & Engineering
Paco joined TransPak in 1997. He started out on the shop-floor and gained hands-on experience by starting cutting raw materials for crate assembly, doing packing on site and dispatching, and worked his way up. Paco proved to have an intuitive understanding of the business, and within four years, he moved into management. He joined our Sales team as a design engineer and helped secure and manage TransPak's key strategic customers. As TransPak grew, Paco's responsibilities did as well and in 2008, Paco took over as Director of Sales. He currently leads a team of experienced packaging experts to service the Silicon Valley. Consistently going beyond expectations, Paco directed the creation and implementation of unique crating solutions that have proven his success in the industry.
Steve Jedan - Director of Global Procurement
Steve joined Transpak to lead the global procurement organization. With over 20 years working in the high tech and semiconductor space, Steve brings a broad background of implementing strategies for robust supply chains and supplier management practices based upon supplier quality, risk management and solid procurement processes. Leveraging Transpak’s global footprint is key to providing cost effective solutions that meet or exceed expectations. He believes in and practices collaborative leadership and systematic processes to maximize results. Steve holds a degree in Business Administration from Oregon State University.
Mark Wordekemper - Vice President of Southwest Operations
Mark has been in the Packaging and Crating business since 1986. Like many of our TransPak leaders, he started out on the warehouse floor and over the years, he worked his way up through the ranks. He launched and ran his own Advanced Packaging Engineering business which operated successfully for 7 years before being acquired. He joined TransPak in 2011 and runs divisions in two major markets (Houston and Austin) with specialties in crating, rigging, packaging and breakbulk.
