Secure Air Commerce

    TransPak recognizes that supporting the Federal Government's requirement of 100% cargo screening by August 2010 is necessary in a secure air commerce supply chain. To meet this need, we have incorporated cutting-edge technology to facilitate the cargo screening process. TransPak is a Certified Cargo Screening Facility that is in accordance with TSA Guidelines, as mandated through recommendations of the 9/11 Commission Act.

 

Certified Cargo Screening Program (CCSP)

    TSA's goal with CCSP is to achieve 100% screening without impeding the flow of commerce while at the same time providing a level of security equivalent to that of passenger baggage. As a Certified Cargo Screening Facility, TransPak can help you:

    • Mitigate the burden on airlines to screen 100% of cargo by delivering screened cargo that can be directly tendered to aircraft.
    • Screen individual cargo and build bulk configurations as appropriate.
    • Allow screening of cargo early in the air cargo supply chain by a trusted, vetted, and assessed TransPak facility.
    • Initiate and maintain the in-house packaging integrity of a shipment throughout the supply chain by utilizing a stringent chain of custody methods.
    • Enable you to incorporate physical screening into the packing process.

 

X-Ray Scanning & ETD Machinery

    TransPak has installed the latest X-Ray Cargo Scanner and ETD machinery in its Santa Clara facility. Certified Cargo Screening was designed to alleviate delays at the airlines while maintaining a secure supply chain. TransPak's onsite screening increases your supply chain efficiency and security. We're certified to screen your cargo from pallets down to the piece level and our team members are trained in accordance with TSA and adhere to all specified chain of custody rules.
